Description
This is the ground level crossing at the entrance to Ringwood East Railway Station. Usually an open, fairly neutral feeling place, the mist really gave the air an intimidating closed feeling.
I loved the effect of this shot, even though I take issue to the lack of perfect symmetry (I was so cold I couldn't stop moving involuntarily).
I hope you enjoy.

The lack of symmetry is a little disappointing, but not enough to take anything away from the image.
I think this looks futuristic and foreboding. I love the crispness of the railings either side and the way they contrast with the blurry shapes of the lights.
It's really cool how the entire composition leads up to those "no entry" gates in the distance, but how you sort of notice them after you've looked at the light.
